OMEGA ONLINE REPORT SYSTEM

In 2012, a new chapter opened in merchandising services. Thanks to the spread of smart phones and the needs of our clients, we introduced our Android-based, online report system which was developed by our company.

We provide smart phones for all of our merchandisers working in hypermarkets, so they can do their work more efficiently.

The flow of information has become faster, online data come from all stores at the same time to our headquarters and to our clients too. The use of the new system improved the level of our services and sales support has become more efficient.

It provides online controlling at all levels. With the help of the new system, we are able to filter out our less cooperative colleagues, we immediately know about all problems in the stores and we can also provide help efficiently and quickly based on the uploaded information wherever it is needed.

It is possible to prioritize daily tasks and designate focuses, so our employees in the field would not work randomly, but in a controlled and organized way. No more left-out or forgotten tasks!

The reports are always logical and based on the needs of our customers and they make our work more precise.

 

QUALITY, EFFICIENCY AND SPEED

By taking photos, our colleagues are encouraged to do better work. It immediately shows if someone is negligent or careless. The system is designed to accept only photos taken at a given place and time, so we can avoid all misunderstandings.

All informational materials and planograms are available at the time of work, so no printed papers are needed and our colleagues do not have to remember everything.

No more unreadable or incomplete reports, and people do not have to use different data media to send a large number of photos to the office to confirm their work.

Do not have to spend many hours or days with matching the photos to the stores and do not have to wait for faxes or for the post to arrive any more.

The continuously arriving data can be downloaded in an excel chart from our online reporting page. From the data, one can generate all-round reports or can concentrate only on one store.

Because of the nature of our work (many people work in a large area), earlier we had many problems with which we do not have to deal anymore thanks to our system developed for smart phones.

If it is needed, it can provide a communicational channel between the customer and the merchandiser, since the system is able to send an automatic message if certain answers arrive. For example if a product or product range is OOS.

 

EXTRA CONTROLLING

With the help of Omega, we can provide extra controlling for our customers. The arriving reports are checked by several of our colleagues, so we can filter out the wrong reports and can inform the merchandiser to correct his/her mistake. It also encourages the merchandisers to work better, since they know that their work is continuously checked and they get feedback also if they work well. We could build our motivation system on this method.

Furthermore, our customers’ KAM and Field teams will know about all problems and happenings in the stores, which is a huge advantage.
